We want to join together to give the G20 Leaders courage

Right now at the COP27 United Nations Climate Change Conference in Sharm El Sheikh Egypt, negotiations continue to move very slowly. We expect a final agreement will not be reached till more than 36 hours after the scheduled closing time.

Two major points of contention are the equitable phaseout of all fossil fuels and funding to address loss and damage.

We can fund loss and damage and phase out fossil fuels. The governments of the world have to work together to create—and mobilize—innovative policies and strategies that steer financial flows towards an equitable and resilient future.
